Download the app from the official website.

Install the recommended extensions:

• GitHub (Search and open GitHub repositories)
  • Go to settings and gh as an alias for search repositories. Now you can open Raycast and type gh <search term> to search for a repository.
• List Repos (Quickly open your local git repositories)
• Brew (List and manage your Homebrew packages)
• Emoji Picker (Quickly insert emojis into your text)

Disable existing spotlight search hotkey:

• Go to System preferences/Keyboard
• Click on Keyboard Shortcuts...
• Click on Spotlight
• Disable "Show Spotlight search"

Update the default hotkey:

• Go to Raycast Preferences CMD + ,
• Set Raycast Hotkey from ALT + SPACE to CMD + SPACE
